Why does my CarPlay only work when plugged in?
Some vehicles (newer) support wireless CarPlay while others ( older) do not. We have one of each, the older one, was upgraded by me recently with a USB dongle, connects to USB A jack and will permit wireless CarPlay when plugged into the car USB jack.
