Is the EA888 a good engine?
The EA888 is a very good engine and very reliable. The only weakness is the water pump. The rest of the car is quite simple. My 2017 has 43k with no issues besides the water pump which was covered by warranty. It drives like a more expensive car than Hondas and Toyotas in the same price range.
