What is the Audi connect app?
As well as giving you useful vehicle information on your smartphone, the Audi Connect plug and play app will notify when you’re due a service and can even send your vehicle details to your preferred Audi Centre for booking. Start planning your trip at home on the PC or the Smartphone. Use Google Maps to create routes and navigation destinations, and upload your data directly to the navigation device from your Audi.Audi Connect isn’t a replacement to Apple and Google’s software, it’s a dedicated cloud based service designed to communicate directly with your car and unlock a suite of extra functionality through the myAudi app, all designed to enhance your vehicle ownership experience.The Audi Digital Key only works with Apple and Android smartphones. Note: Some recently released phones such as the Samsung Z Flip 6 and the Apple iPhone 16e do not come with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology and must use NFC with the Audi Digital Key.

Does Audi connect need a SIM card?
Audi Connect Online Infotainment Services (“Infotainment Services”) are provided via a SIM card embedded in the vehicle. The Infotainment Services enable access to certain search, social media and other online services provided by third parties. Features vary by model. Audi connect PLUS with Full-Speed Wi-Fi * Complimentary 6-month trial subscription included with new MY24 vehicle purchase. After the trial, a paid subscription of $25 monthly or $250 yearly is required to access the Audi connect PLUS with Full-Speed Wi-Fi features.Audi connect SIM It includes unlimited data for the use of connect services. The Audi connect SIM can also automatically access the provider for a specific country in most European countries, as necessary. This eliminates high, country-specific roaming charges and inconvenient roaming confirmations for the customer.If you have a 2017+ A3, A4, Q7, allroad®, or new 2018+ A5 or Q5, or new 2019 A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q8, e-tron the SIM card in your vehicle is embedded. Can you use Audi connect without a subscription?
To access the benefits of Audi Connect, you will need to have an active Connect licence (Audi Themes do not require a licence). Your car may have been delivered with either a 3 month or 36 month Connect licence, depending on model.
