Audi Connect isn’t a replacement to Apple and Google’s software, it’s a dedicated cloud based service designed to communicate directly with your car and unlock a suite of extra functionality through the myAudi app, all designed to enhance your vehicle ownership experience.Audi connect PLUS is a paid subscription that turns your Audi into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Providing full speed internet connection for up to 8 devices, Audi connect PLUS makes your Audi feel like home.Standard text and data rates may apply. Requires myAudi mobile app, acceptance of Audi connect Terms of Service, and is only available on select models.Audi Connect navigation and infotainment only costs £115 for a year-long subscription or £11.audi connect features and services are available within your car infotainment, with additional remote features available through the myaudi app¹. Even if you drive an audi without an in-built audi connect function, you can access these features via your car and smartphone with the audi connect plug and play device.
How do I activate Audi connect?
After creating your account, activate Audi connect by logging into the myAudi app and adding your vehicle using the VIN. This step unlocks the myriad benefits of Audi connect, from remote control features to real-time vehicle status updates. Complimentary 3-year trial subscription included with new MY26 vehicle purchase. After the trial, a paid subscription of $15 monthly or $150 yearly is required to access the Audi connect PLUS features.Your car may have been delivered with either a 3 month or 36 month Connect licence, depending on model. If your car does not have an active Connect licence, or you are unsure, you can purchase one in the myAudi app or by logging in to your myAudi account.Duration of free audi connect services audi connect services come with a complimentary six-month trial, allowing new owners to experience the full range of features without any initial cost. During this trial, you can access unlimited data and enjoy the benefits of a connected vehicle.
Do I need to pay for Audi connect?
All new Audi connect-equipped models come with a three-month subscription included. After that, you have the option of choosing a permanent SIM which is renewed through Audi, or opting for a Pay As You Go SIM of your own. Audi vehicles which come with Audi connect services and Apps rely on an embedded SIM card that connects to a third party mobile telecommunications network in order to deliver those services to the vehicle and enable certain functionality within connected Apps.The BMP Audi kit allows for the use of Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with your current screen, both small and large. This is a cost effective plug and play solution where a full display upgrade is not required. Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Use applications such as Spotify, YouTube, Waze & many more.Audi Smartphone Interface (ASI) can also be activated at the same time (not compatible with all cars). ASI lets you connect your phone and have Apple Carplay & Android Auto. We will offer Map Update for £50 if you get ASI activated at the same time!
Do you need a SIM card to use Audi connect?
If your Audi doesn’t have an embedded SIM, our Plug & Play device and app gives you access to Audi Connect features. Remote Start via myAudi App Requires myAudi mobile app, acceptance of Audi connect Terms of Service, and is only available on select models.
