These 3. L V6 engines are gems. My 07 automatic doesn’t miss a beat with almost 240k miles on it now. I’ve owned it for almost 9 years and ragged on it like crazy for all of them. No problems at all yet on the original engine/transmission. Pre 2006 had some timing chain tensioner issues which are expensive to fix. Other than that they’re very reliable engines. Mine doesn’t burn or leak a drop of oil but maybe some do.
