The Cadillac Formula 1 Team have confirmed two former race winners will return to the sport when the American squad enters F1 at the start of 2026. Last month the new team on the grid revealed Mexican Sergio Perez and Finland’s Valtteri Bottas will lead the Cadillac F1 Team in their debut season. In November 2024, a deal was agreed by F1 and American car company General Motors for a team to join in the 2026 season, under the Cadillac brand. GM’s deal with F1 was formally approved in March 2025 for a 2026 entry. It will be a joint effort between GM and its partner TWG, which will run Cadillac’s entry in F1.
