Another more permanent option vanlifers use is a flushable toilet that holds the waste in a black water tank, which presents the hassle of finding a place to dump the black water tank properly.Smaller campervans often include a portable toilet. These are compact and lightweight, allowing them to fit into tight spaces or be stored when not in use. Larger campervans, on the other hand, typically feature a dedicated bathroom area with a built-in toilet.Barely a Toilet These come in a few different forms; in a van, a folding toilet makes the most sense, as they take up the smallest possible amount of space. Some fold up into a contraption that looks like a floating, lonely toilet seat; others look like a bucket (mostly because they are buckets).Built-In RV Toilets for Vans These are permanently plumbed into your van and connected to a large black water tank, much like in a traditional RV.
