Between 1958 and 1970, McLaren was a Formula One driver who most notably founded the McLaren team, and scored four race wins. After much success on the track racing for the Cooper Team, Bruce McLaren founded Bruce McLaren Racing LTD in 1963 and began producing his own F1 racecars.
